Holidays starts tomorrow!
YAY! 1 more day and holidays! I am soooooo excited but i have a few test and set assignments to do tomorrow and over the holidays! Wahhh, well i have to do that one the 1st week of holidays before i go back to Malaysia! I have French, Maths and English stuff to do over the hols and a legal test 2morrow. We were meant to have a French oral today but it was cancel so was the english essay test tomorrow! :) JOY! I'm now in the library chilling out at lunchtime with Grace sitting next to me reading a book.
We are doing a debate on "offensive jokes" tomorrow in English.Me and Grace and Emma have been looking at offensive jokes website and they were REALLY REALLY offensive! I mean it! I was like "How can they think its the best jokes ever!" How? I think i will be a big debate tomorrow. When we Mrs Wheelan told us the topic Jemima was like blarring out rebuttals on every comment that Mrs Wheelan made. LOL, emma could imagine our whole classroom shaking! LOL!

A day of happy surprises!
Gosh! What a day of surprises! And they are all happy surprises! Yesterday, mum and dad were plannning to go to Dandenong market which is a bout and hour and a half away from home. I didn't want to go but mum persuaded me and i did go. So we had breakfast, or should i say brunch at maccas first and then we drove there. I read my book and listen to my Ipod on the car trip. When we got there, we go lost for a while even looking at the map but we found our way out and arrived at the market. But, the market was close and it only opens on tuesday, friday saturday (i think). I was like YES!!!! lol! I didn't want to go from the start and the market is close. COINCIDENCE!!!!
Then on our way home, dad turn off the main road into a row of shops and i took my headphones of and ask mum where are we going and mum said we are going to the music (insturment) shop. Cause i have a keyboard at home and there is not enough keys for me to play on so i asked mum before if i could get a piano. And GUESS WHAT! I got one today and it is delivered on Wednesday! ^^. It's a Yamaha U3-H model, i think. And i can't wait to play on it. But i feel guilty because of how expensive it is. Eventhough it is second hand , i still feel guilty. I guess i just have to work hard to show that buying me a piano is not a waste like last time......LOL. Yeah, last time we got a piano in Malaysia i didn't use it and my parents weren't that happy.
Then, well, i don't this is a happy surprise. Just a surprise. We were eating dinner at this asian restaurant in Flemington and when i finish my food, Mrs Rowe came in and sat on the table opposite us facing me but luckily her husband was sitting in front of her and my dad is sitting in front of me. LOL. I was like choking when i saw her! lol! Mrs Rowe is my head of secondary at school. LOL, i didn't really feel like talking to her, so i left quickly while my dad paid for the bill. I know, what kind of student am i....blah blah blah!
Well, that's it. Ok, it's not much for you but it is for me! lol!

Sawadika!
Lol, it means hello in thai! I just been to a Thai restaurant down Johnson Street in Collingwood (near Smith Street). The food was really yummy! Mum was asked to join her collegues for dinner here so i had to come along with dad too.
We were the 1st ones to arrived and we sat at the far end of a 18 seated long table. I regretted that because i couldn't go to the restroom when i wanted cause i couldn't get out. My mum's best friend, a vietnamese and another new collegue at school from Malaysia sat together. Cause we are asians (WOAH! I used that word.), we have this same sense of talking. So we were at our little corner talking away. This is my 1st time meeting the girl that came from Malaysia. I heard about her from mum and i though she was pretty and nice! We have the same interest in shows and fashion,it's really cool. Cause in melbourne i can't really find anyone to talk to that have the same interest in me. So i feel quite happy to talk to someone who knows what i'm talking about! ^^

Waiting...
Waiting now in the libary for mum to pick me up. Basketball training was cancel so mum have to pick me up because i missed the bus. oh well, it's better to wait then go on the bus! Buses are so EVIL! lol ^^. It rained all week. We when down to Rye to the holiday house mum and her friends rented. Mum's friends bought her two dogs along. Kiera and Ruby. They're so cute and really shy. Dad cooked so much food that we were fully bloated. and i gain so much calories or FAT! lol! Running on the threadmill now everyday to burn down those fats baby! lol! what just happen?! It is so cold everyday! my feet is so cold and frezzing. It feels like i have frostbites ^^.
Less than 2 weeks and holidays. We're planning to go back to Malaysia in the holoidays however.....dad is pondering whether to go home because of the outbreak of swine flu in victoria which is now up to 1000 cases and 1200 in the whole Australia. Dad is afraid we will bring the virus to our families in Malaysia without even realising or we won't be able to get into Malaysia's custom and be asked to home qurantine for 7 days. and we are stayin on Malaysia for 2 weeks that is just going just great! We haven't tell any of our relatives about our plans because we are actually not quite sure if we are going back and if we do we're giving them a surprise! that will be so cool!

Concord
Today for activities our group went to the Concord school. We have to swap groups with the other group who went to concord last semester and they get to do food tech. Concord is a school where children or teenagers who have a mental disable. They have a problem learning and abosorbing infomation quickly. Some of them is a few years behind their age and some are 1 year or 2 behind. The school varies from prep-Yr 12. Some of them are quite smart and me and maddie were working with them.
We were working with the top bright students in the school. They were smarter than I actually imagine. Well....some of them are brigther then me in Maths! I admit it! They can count in their brain and i have to use my fingers...LOL! They can use the computers really well too! They type as good as me. Didn't hesitated much on each keys! Also their basic knowledge was pretty good. They played knowledge wars between each other and the teachers will ask some questions and they will race each other up the laddle. It's pretty cool.
I was so nervous at first coz I haven't done anything like that before. After the experience, I reckon it wasn't that bad plus it was quite fun and interesting! It was actually better than i thought. The people there are so nice. So, don't judge a book by it's cover, if you get to know them, they are really COOL!!!!!

Overall of Semester One!
Just a quick drop-by. ;) Semester 1 is finally over and we started semester 2 yesterday. We finished our exams last thrusday and got the day off on friday because of report writting day. YAY! Then we got our results back in class on Monday and so on....here are the results of my exams:
From Lowest to Highest
Science: 67% I knew i didn't do very good in that. Oh well, it's over!
Maths: 73% I thought I did well in that and we get to have our theory book and calculator and I got a B for it. But at lease i got all the multiple choice right!LOL
Values and Faith: 76% How can you get a B for that subject, someone even failed! *gasp*
French: 85% Satisfied but could have done better.....
Legal: 91% I knew I would get in the As but not in the A+'s
English: 91% SUPRISE! How...What....This couldn't happen to me!!!!
In English, I was actually the highest in the whole Yr 10 but Lexie creep up at and got 92%. Oh well, then i thought, I'm second in the whole year level. Then today in English when we got our exams back, Courtney said that Mrs Wheelan counted hers wrong and now she got 94% which was now the highest in Yr 10. I'm third now. And in Legal i was the top in class and Courtney got 90% and then she tells Mrs O'keefe that she counted her marks wrong and she got 93% for the exam and she is 1st again! URGH!!!!!!! Soz....i so wanted to be first in something cause i'm never first and i don't get it!
Today we had a subject slection briefing for next year. The results i get in this exam will heavily influences the subjects I'm limited to. I have an average B but I still not sure about Science because i still not sure about the overall performance that is in my report which is i am going to recieve in the holidays.
We are also doing camp selections this term. We have a yr 10 camp in August and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not looking forward it. Sometimes i reckon is OK when i think about it but sometimes i feel like crying because of the bad experience I have over the past camps. It's a 7 day camp and it is in 2 part. 3 and a half days of adventure and 3 and a half days of retreat. In the adventure part of the camp you get to choose one of the three options, skiing (cross country), cycling and canoeing. I can't ski plus you stay in the snow and i will freeze to that if i do that! Cycling, i like it but can't go uphill and this is a mountain biking tour. So canoeing is my choice now but.....I can't swim so hope i don't fall into the river.
In the retreat part, we have a 24 hour solo on one of the three days. We have to stay out in the bush for one day ALONE and set up our own tents, cook our meals, reflect....blah blah blah!!!! I DON'T WANT TO GO TO CAMP!! WAHHHHH!!!!
We have the long weekend this weekend and i'm going down to some holiday house somewhere with my family and mum's friends. Like last time we when to Daylesford. Hope it's going to be good! 2 more weeks and long holidays! YAY!
